This post is from an unsuccessful attempt at passing PD.

In my opinion, candidates should balance the recommendations provided in this thread with that fact.

Good point B...

I guess that's why this post has helped multiple forum members pass this exam with flying colors then?......right?.....lol.

Thank you for your insight, much appreciated...

QUICK, I'm going at Pre-Design next. Perhaps, 15 Jul 08, I figure get a little more confidence and then....

Took me years to know this life is one day at a time. So I decided to do the next right thing at the right time for the right reason, no matter who's looking!

Quick -

I was having a hard time deciding which exam to take next following my recent exam on CD (4.0 version).  I have read many posts on this forum, and noticed that a majority of members have recommended taking PPP (ARE 4.0), or PD in 3.1 after taking CD, which is my plan.

I just reviewed your post, and I like how you broke down the study areas.  I will use it to my benefit, I hope.

Just a few questions:

1. How much time did you spend studying for this exam?, and

2. As was posted by Archana, is the a particular section of AHPP, that one should focus?  Our office has the 4 volume version, and I am affraid that the volume I need to study for this exam is currently misplaced (Volume 2).

Narrowing down the section of AHPP would be a great help to me but most likely others who have read your post, and would truely benefit from your experience.

Hope you have received a PASS on this exam since you last took it.

Ready for your exam anytime soon?

I'm in the same boat. Though I'm eligible for late Sept. I'm going for a PD Seminar early October and try to cover any areas that I'll be missing.

Best Wishes;

Orlando

First of all, Thanks for the PD exam prep. Information, I just got green light to start taking my exams and my first choice to take is Pre-Design and I was thinking to buy the Kaplan  study package for this particular division, and I would like to get your opinion about this material.

Do you think is Worth buying, I heard very good things about it.

Do you think it will cover must of the material you are describing in the forum.

Thank you

DO you still need this information Bill?...

If so, I'd say that Kaplan can't hurt, but def don't use it as an only source...
