dreams really do come true.
I studied the ftp site, Kaplan, and both Kaplan + Archiflash flashcards...also googled/wikipedia anything that i came across. I have a Masters and 5 years work experience so I think that extra time was good.
Tips:
1. study till you scream - outline major topics, and subjects that still stump you
2. read, re-read, translate into spanish/french/arabic and back into english, and re-read each question on the exam. - ...break it down, and see what they are asking for - you can narrow it down considerably...
3. Even if a question stumps you, consider what part of your study outline (or kaplan chapter) it could fall under (history, arch prof, site, etc)...then look at it again under those key terms/factors/subjects...the answer may stick out now...
I had a question that i immediatly wrote off as impossible...after the test, the more i thought about it, the more i could break it down and see how i actually knew the answer....a city's layout i had never been too....but, i could figure out the approx age and thus the historical style....then begin to guess at what street configuration it might be in....too bad i realized that 2 weeks after i took the test...
but i passed, and smiling...
8 months in ticking!!!!
good luck everyone

Congrats jmt!! I'm still waiting for my results.
I did study AHPP, but used it as sort of a secondary source. I think it gave me some depth in a lot of topics. Necessary? Maybe not, but it made me much more comfortable with several topics I felt weak on.

| yes, PD is among the toughies and therefore one of the more rewarding ones to get past. I needed three attempts myself. Freed up alot of desk space too, considering the volumes of recommended study reference. Congratulations.

Did you bypass ballast's material? I'm thinking about archiflash. How does it help in your experience?
