Just received the best news ever: I passed PD and it’s my last one. :D :D :D :D :D

It’s been +4 years and had failed PD twice and SP once, all others passed them on the first try.

Took GS / LF seminar with D. Thaddeus, (this served as a great jumpstart) then an MEP seminar and most recently a PD seminar. Almost all were key essentials en passing the exams.

This last exam was easier then the last one, but i definitely followed the recommendations given here when taking the exam: READ, READ AND RE-READ the questions and answers. It took me 2 hours and 20 minutes for the first pass, and used that last 10 minutes to review the marked questions.

Materials that I used to study: AGS, D200, A201, B141, AHPP, Ballast, Kaplan, Archiflash, AREFORUM FTP Site, and other materials, besides studying almost on a weekly basis with another candidate (for this exam it was crucial).

I personally thank everyone here for being more than helpful and supportive, and for your respective contribution to this site. I Especially thank my wife for her support and PATIENCE.

Some of the items on the exam are as follow: (would like to be more specific.)

Oddly at least 4 to 5 repeated questions from the previous exam.

No calculations of any type. (Just to keep track of my time).

Maybe two to three very easy graphic.

2 or 3 history questions (gothic period)

Architects / owner / contractors respective responsibilities

Residual value

Eminent domain

MM (flooring type)

Definition of efficiency

Definition of Cooperative

Definition of highest and best return

ADA:

CPTED:

Hazard material

Greek dimension

Two important American city maps: what pattern they follow.

Definition of Cofferdam

Definition of Culvert

Toxic materials

Heat gain

Again Thanks to All:

Yeay!!!! That is awesome! Congratulations! I bet you we all in this forum want to be in your shoes right now;)! Now that you don't have a real reason to virtually visit us, hope you will do great with your ARCHITECT license. Try not to miss the long hours of studying, the stress, the crazyness, and all the impossible wording tasks that NCARB wants us to understand like out of the blue....

If we don't hear from you, So long Orlo....

Nicely done, Orlando. You're a testament that persistence and the will to succeed is indeed the key to an accomplishment like finishing the ARE.

It Took about 2.5 weeks. I was told that NCARB has been sending results late. (At least more that usual).
