It's ridiculous to see how many people don't read directions...

I am wondering if anyone on here (who has followed directions) used the mock exam to study for v2.2, and what their comments are about the difference in the mock exam and the newer version of the test.

I have already passed the test but am doing research because my company is compiling study guides. I took the 2.2 test, and mostly studied 2.2 material. I know there are some major differences between the two versions.

If you have specific comments about the differences between the 2.1 Mock Exam and the 2.2 test, let me know. I'm going to email the professor as well. Also, if you have questions about the 2.2 test, I can try to answer them.

A side note: I took the test twice- the first time failing by two points. Warning: if you take it twice you may have some of the same exact questions. I went back to my office and tried to write down every single one I could remember so that I could go back and research whether I had answered correctly.

EMAIL me at claire81(AT)gmail.com

Hi:  I am taking it in 3 weeks.  If you have any suggestions, I am all ears.  I am confused on the scoring.  Is it 80 questions, but some of them have more than 1 answer, so add up all the answers and it totals 200?

Also, I have heard that on multiple answer questions, if you get 1 wrong, you get the entire question wrong.  Is that correct?

Thanks for your help.  Oh and if you do get a copy of the mock exam, would you send me a copy?  I figure it will help me get into the mindset if nothing else.

Thank you,

Lucy Price

It's ridiculous to see how many people can't(don't) read directions...I wonder if that reflects on the industry at all...

Anyway, I have already taken the exam but am looking for study materials on behalf of my company, which wants to produce an in-house study guide. We have the reference guides, the *** Study Guide, mock exams from a consultant and all of the stuff on the USGBC website.

I am wondering if anyone on here (who has followed the directions) has taken the v2.2 test and whether they thought this mock exam for v2.1 was misleading or helpful. I know that there are some major differences between the two versions.

If you have questions about the v2.2 test or comments after having taken it and studied with the 2.1 mock exam, EMAIL me. I took v2.2 and studied only 2.2 material.

Also, just as an aside, I took the exam twice, because the first time, I failed by 2 points (so more or less one question) I went back to my office and tried to write down every question I could remember. I had a lot of the same questions the second time around, and luckily, I had gone back to research them.

I do get it.  I have already emailed Prof. Bryan.  I just thought if someone on this thread had a copy and could email it to me, then I would have more than once source, raising the probability of my receiving a copy from somewhere.

Got any mock exams for LEED EB test or know anybody who does?  I have the CO LEED Chapter study guide but it only has 20 EB questions and 80 NC.  I really need a mock EB exam that has all 80 questions in it.  Thanks.

While Professor Bryan’s v2.1 mock exam is probably a good place for many people to start, the LEED Professional Accreditation Study Guide and Practice Exam - LEED-NC version 2.2 Edition with EB & CI Quiz Questions from the USGBC CO Chapter offers a high-quality practice exam plus lots of additional information on preparing for the exam and how to use the LEED Rating System effectively (including considerable content that is not available in either the Reference Guide or on the USGBC web site).  The link to their Study Guide page is as follows:

http://www.usgbc***.com/resources/leed-studyguide.html

(replace the three asterisks with "c o l o r a d o" – no spaces – as the ARE Forum seems to have a problem displaying the name of that particular U.S. state)

Check out http://www.leedtestprep.com

320 practice questions - 4 pools of 80 questions and an exam simulator just like the real exam.  The whole thing runs in a browser and as soon as you order one you can start using it.
