I teach a course on Environmental Rating Systems for Buildings at Arizona State University and prepared a course exam based on LEED NC 2.1. My students who have taken that course and went on to take the actual LEED exam comment on how close my exam was to the real thing. Thanks for Professor Bryan who e-mailed me his sample exam and answers.
I got a 78% on his exam. The very next day I took the LEED Professional Accreditation exam and got a 56% which was barely good enough to pass. WHEW! 
I think Professor Bryan's exam was very fair and tested knowledge a LEED AP should know.
The actual exam is more difficult than Professor Bryan's exam and I feel many of the questions asked were fair. Questions should relate to knowledge a LEED AP should possess and I do not feel many of the questions met this ideal.

I took exam lastweek and passed. I used prof. Bryan's mock up exam a couple of days before the real exam. The form of his exam is very close to real exam but real exam is harder than his. Still, very useful practice before exam.

| I just passed the exam, and this was the most helpful (free) mock exam I found. It does a good job of simulating the "choose three" conditions in the exams, and has more questions on project team organization and paperwork than others out there. The only thing that I would caution is that, as Prof. Bryan says, the real one is a bit harder, mostly because instead of asking which strategies are applicable to a certain credit, the real exam would ask you which strategies were most effective out of a list in which all of them are somewhat effective. Sorry, the study guides don't rank them in order of effectiveness!

The LEED 2.2 exam is not scheduled to be out until the end of Sept. As of now we don't know what it will look like.
|
