I have been trying to understand the SSc6.1 Stormwater design and was wondering if anyone had a question on the test that asked how to calculate the existing imperviousness? If so, how do you calculate it if given a scenario that requires that type of calculation? I only found a calculation for Amount of Runoff captured and Drawdown rate but nothing on the actual calculation of imperviousness.
I appreciate any help....

You calculate existing impervious in AutoCAD. By outlining the areas and summing them.
Not sure if this is a question or not though.
I'm a PE and do SWM all the time, the refernce guide does a terrible job of explaining this.

I had this question on my exam and don't feel it was very clear, but of course manyof the questions are geared toward tricking you than anything else.
Feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the spam here, but I have a whole blog devoted to issues such as these... http://www.reallifeleed.com - There are many similar questions I've run into and I've posted the answers as I've learned them myself. Everything's free so check it out when you get a chance.

RealLifeLeed: Thanks, I have been on your website before and it is a great site, especially for people trying to apply LEED to actual projects.
uilanitx: I see that you had this question on the test, do you remember how it was worded or anything else about it. I have had a few friends take the exam and they have all had something like this on their exam.
Does anyone else remember or know how to solve a question like that on the test?
