Hello All,
I was wondering how many people actually take the LEED CI or EB exams? It seems that all of the web based study materials are solely dedicated to LEED NC? I was wondering if there is anyone out there actually studying for the LEED EB and CI exams and what, if any, study materials have they found available on the web?
Thanks,
Jon - www.everblueenergy.com Last edited on Tue Aug 12th, 2008 02:44 am by carolinablue

NC does have the most materials available, and most people do take this exam. There are other materials available. Check out:

| I took the LEED EB exam 2 weeks ago and passed. I think greenexamprep.com has about the best materials I have found. I bought the online practice test and did 1 a day for a month while I was reading the reference book ect and it worked for me. The only thing I will say is know the submittal stuff the practice test didn;t have much on it and it wasn't pretty on the test when I got 8+ questions about it. (passed first time none the less). EB and CI from what I hear are a waste of time, 90% of AP's are taking the NC exam. I went through the everblue energy two day class and killed it with a 190. That reference guide has to be the most boring read ever, Jon class took the pain out of it

EB is more challenging IMO then NC. Anyone can design something to be efficient but to take something that is terrible and make it above par takes more effort and thought. That is why I took it. Yes 90% taken NC but if you know EB then NC is nothing and the other way around.
To each is his own and they both Make you a LEED-AP. So take what ever one will help you more. If you design then NC if you work facilities then EB. IMO

Thanks Laguna and Arizona for your thoughts. I asked the question about CI and EB because we do offer LEED NC Exam Prep classes and we're debating whether to offer ED and CI exam prep classes as well. Hardly anybody even asks for them so we're trying to guage the interest before we invest significant time in developing a program.
Arizona, What are your thoughts on the value of EB program?
Another consideration for us is that CI and EB are scheduled to get major overhauls in 2009 while NC will evolve to LEED 3.0 . . .
Anyways, we do offer Live LEED NC test prep classes. Our class information can be found on http://www.everblueenergy.com/leedtestprep.html
Thanks,
Jon

| I wish there was a Web based LEED EB Review I probably would have taken it. I do think the renovation of the system is going to be a big pain so it is not worth doing much till that is done in my opinion. If you want to chat more PM me and we can make arrangments to talk more.
