Hi, I finally took a break from the celebrating passing the exam. The exam was not that bad and is easily passable. I studied really lightly for two weeks then harder for the last two. The key to my success was those greenexamprem.com's practice tests. On my first go I scored below 50% and on subsequient tries my score increased. By the time I was ready to take the exam I was scoring in the 90%'s. About half of the questions on the exam were extremely similar to the practice exams. I probably wouldn't have passed with out doing those. I also got the colo study guide and despite the excellent reviews here I found it to be mediocre. While the test was most similar to the actual exam, it didn't really help me learn or remember the information. The greenexamprep.com tests force you to look up info and the repetition makes you remember lots of obscure info that will come up on the exam.
The question for MR that asks how much steel can you count as recycled...25%, did come up on the actual exam and in the same wording as greenprep.
"the ultimate credit chart" (it's called something like that) that's posted in another thread was crucial. I took it with me everywhere and read a little of it every day. It really helped the info set in.
Lastly, MAKE SURE YOUR MATERIALS ARE UP TO DATE!!!! read all the erratas. I almost went into the exam with dated information from the first edition, there are big changes in the following third edition.
Goodluck!!!
Oh I forgot, I passed with a 185.
