On the IV section of IDP Training Unit Report, there is a colunm--"Spplementary Education" and it says "Your AIA transcript must be attached." I don't understand what it is. I am intern. Should I fill out this part? or just leave it blank?
Thank you so much for your answer!!!

I was confused with this myself. Apparently, any lunch-n-learns or seminars that you can earn continuing education credit, can count towards your IDP. The thing you have to do is to obtain an AIA membership number and give that number to the person who is teaching the class. Wait like a week or two, then contact the university of Oklahoma (apparently, these people keep record of the transcripts) to get your transcript.
If you're not a member of the AIA, you can obtain a free memebership number by contacting the AIA national office. Check http://www.aia.org for further info.

| Thank you, SugaBear! That is very helpful! But is the supplementary education required? My training unit has been enough. Should I still have to do that?

| The supplementary education is not required - it's just an option to gain TUs beyond the minimum requirements faster than working.

One can complete the exercises in the Emerging Professionals Companion for additonal IDP training units.
The recent NCARB rule change appears to indicate that these can be used for core TU's.
