So i finished logging all my hours 3 years ago. i thought everything was cool, and now i'm just trying to finish off my exams, and be done with the whole process.
So when i called my board to see if a particular test score had come in, i casually asked if there was anything else i needed to do before i finally got my last "PASS" letter.
to my surprise, the intern consultant said that i was deficient in my hours...about 400 in total. this shocked me, as i meticulously sent those suckers in every 6 months for 4 years. So when i got home that evening, i searched the house for my intern binder, and sure enough i have a photocopy record of my last submittal documenting the end to that torture.
but she said the board never got it.
i asked if i could send my photocopied copy (signed and noted by my mentor and the architect of my old firm), but she said "no, we need an original". she also said they would be charging me for the backlog.
so now i have to pay for their mistake. and i say THEIR mistake because that was the 2nd time over my internship that they've misplaced my submitted log. Previously they had found it in a pile of outgoing mail, but now they are saying the time has been so long that there is no way for them to search.
What a bunch of Mongoloids!

I highly recommend you speak with Harry Falconer 202-839-0535. If he can't help ask for Greg Hall IDP Director at the same number.
Be nice and maybe they can help you.
