Anyone doing EPC excercises for credit?

I'm confused as to how to get supplentary EPC training units recorded with AIA so that it appears on my transcript.  I have my AIA number and have submitted to get confirmation from the EPC website, but its states I need to get AIA transcipts with the credit shown in order to add it to my IDP reporting form.

Do you use the self-report from to submit excercise credits?

I've been reading the EPC site and the AIA site, but they only give vague descriptions on what needs to be done to submit for credit, but not how to do it.

If anyone who has had success with submitting EPC excercises for credit would chime in on the whole process, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

I did some, but it was a coupla years ago.

The reporting process is confusing.  You have to dig through the EPC or AIA site to find it.  I think it's through the University of Oklahoma.

Once I found it, I bookmarked the link.  Sorry I'm not more help.

Below is what is what I got from the AIA website regarding the submittal process.  IS it telling me to look at the AIA Oklahoma site and submittal a self-report form for doing the EPC excercises?

How do I get credit for the exercises?

If you are close to completing IDP but need an extra boost, the EPC can be a great resource to get you to the exam fast! First, review your work with your supervisor. Second, submit for credit using the online form on the Web site. Lastly, include with your NCARB employment verification form a copy of your AIA transcript showing the EPC exercises you have reviewed with your supervisor and logged with AIA. Have your supervisor sign the form to verify the work.

If you complete an activity on your own, such as the questions for a continuing education article from Architectural Record, then you are responsible for submitting the paperwork to the University of Oklahoma. Again, use your AIA-issued number.

NCARB requires an official transcript be submitted along with your NCARB Employment Verification IDP Training Unit Report Form. You may download a copy of your transcript from the University of Oklahoma web site at any time (or request a transcript in writing, one free each year). That transcript should be sent with your Form 123 to NCARB.

Each hour of AIA approved continuing education earns two hours of IDP credit (in other words, one AIA Learning Unit Hour earns 0.25 IDP Training Units).

I think you report it through this page:

Go to the log in on the upper right.

logging in allows you to see your transcript and stuff.  The only thing I see is the self-report form.  I think that is what you have to use, but alot of the fill in the blank questions don't specifically correlate with the EPC or IDP related items.  That's why I'm not certain what to fill out and what to have you need signed and so forth?

You just self report through the website.

The EPC TU's are signed off with the rest of IDP on form 123 by your supervisor and mentor.

Keep records and let the supervisor and mentor know what you're doing to avoid confusion later.
