So, I submitted my training units for working under a unregistered employer and I was told that I could only get credit for this time under Category C - Management and D - Related Activites. This is what the email states:
Your employment with (5/16/05-8/18/05) is within Training Setting E per the IDP Guidelines; therefore, the maximum allowable credit in that setting is 117 training units in Categories C and D. Please redocument this employment with the IDP units in the acceptable categories to receive credit for this experience. Thank you.
When you state that you have training units in Category D, you must also give a description of what those activites are. Most of the work I did at this firm was construction documents with a little bit of programming and design work. How should I state my work there so that I have a good chance of receiving credit for it?
Thanks! Tara

| Redo the forms, put the experience in Category D, and state what you were doing ("programming of ______", "design of _______", "construction drawings of ________").

List it as something generic like "in house development services for 300 warehouses" or "manged delivery of 500 portable structures."
I wouldn't recommend making it look like something applicable in the other categories...so don't use terms like "programming" or "construction drawings."
You're too likely to get a nit picked to death.
