If anybody knows:
I am working on alteration of existing 3-story school building.
I reconstruct the parapet and leaders are located outside the building.
May I remove existing leaders, store them and after reconstruction of new parapet to reinstall them? Or leaders are such product that require replacement with new ones?
Thank you.

The leaders are likely made of copper or a higher quality metal than what we can normally specify today. If at all possible, re-use. Conductor heads may need some attention, brazing or welding to recondition. No reason these items can not be reconditioned and put back into service.
