how does a large project work? I am working on this large project with a 15 person team and each one of us is associated with plan, section, elevation, MEP cordination.....is this a typical way a large projects are handled? I feel I just don't have a complete understandig of the project and it is so difficult to think in only 2 planes and not having a better understanding of the third plane. This is my first exp in such a large project earlier had done some small scale projects and had a complete understanding of everythig happening with the project. Not knowing much of the current project frustrates me a lot and thoughts occur my mind of leaving the job very frequently these days.
Do thoughts like these cross your minds who are working on large scale projects?

My preference is to have a full size set of plans handy for reference.
In my opinion, plan reading is a critical activity for everyone on a large project team.
Even if there's just one person generating redlines, those carrying them out need to understand the project sufficiently to anticipate problems and recognize unresolved issues.
