Architect Registration Exam: Graphic Divisions

This eight hour seminar offers an overview of the Graphic Divisions of the Architect Registration Exam and is designed to prepare interns for the successful completion of the A.R.E. All three Graphic Divisions Site Planning, Building Planning and Building Technology will be reviewed. Pertinent information regarding each division will be covered, as well as A.R.E. testing, instructional information and sample vignettes.
The instructors are Kurt Wassenaar, Architect and Principal of the Wassenaar Design Group, P.C., a five-person architectural firm located in Charlottesville, Bruce Grulke AIA, Project Architect with Clark-Nexsen Architecture and Engineering in Norfolk and Greg Winkler also an Architect with the Wassenaar Design Group. Both Kurt and Bruce have extensive experience with the A.R.E and in the academic community with Mr. Wassenaar serving as an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Virginia and Mr. Grulke serving as a Professor of Architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Greg Winkler, a graduate of Virginia Tech, successfully completed all nine divisions of the ARE version 3.0 in 2007.
