I started study two weeks ago. I read through first two chapters in Kaplan and I couldn't move on. The materials in Kaplan sounds too complicated to me, so I read in the forum about Marc's online anytime course. Then I signed up the course and took me a week to go thru the whole course. Now I'm in the process reviewing Marc's notes, and quickly skim through the NALSA flash cards. Even though I understand the concepts from the course, I still feel not very secure. Seems like something is missing. Any last minute study tips? I guess I'll probably start doing the Kaplan Q&A tomorrow, that might help me review the study materials too. sigh...
Test this Monday...

| Hi John, signing up for the on-line seminar is a good move. I think understanding the concepts and some calculations is the basic knowledge you need to have. Also reviewing some building and materials about concrete, steel and wood would be helpful. If you feel you're not ready...just reschedule it. It's better to pay $35 dollars than to wait 6 months. Good luck!

I'm with Tops.
I've looked into the eyes of this beast and it's not as bad as I thought. I still don't know if I passed but I can tell you one thing:
Relax.
Like hearing that will help...
But seriously if you can't relax, reschedule until you feel like you can relax.
Do all the practice problems!!!!!! Rehearse!!!!!!

Thanks guys, I took the exam this morning. I feel 50/50 about it. There were a handful of questions related to selecting the "most economical" structural solution, which I haven't spend a lot of time reviewing before the exam.
Well... moving on to LF!

Is three weeks enough time to digest all the information on this exam? I have left myself 5 weeks.

PASSED!
What a surprise! Thanks to the Mitalski online class. It helped me to clarify the structural concept which I can't do that all by myself. The Kaplan book is pretty difficult to me.
However I failed LF, which I thought it's a easy pass. I still don't understand why, but I'm still happy since I think GS is more difficult than LF. Phew~
