I am testing on Oct. 31st.
I completed the mitalski seminar, finished the Kaplan book, and half way through the flashcards. I am feeling totally overwhelmed with the calcs and more so the symbols and what they represent. When I read a sample problem, half the time I feel like I don't know what they are asking or where to begin. I get so worked up that I can't concentrate. Does anyone else feel like this??!!!

I'm half way through the online seminar, I'm travlling to Vancouver for Thaddeus in November and my test is Dec. 01 - I'm already freaking out! I wish I could take a pill that would cure me of my math related Structures blockage... I hate this!

In my opinion, Kaplan is far more calculation intensive than the actual test.
In my opinion, it's good preparation because it is harder than the test itself.
As always, I recommend studying until you are prepared and then scheduling your test.

I have read Kaplan, Architect's Studio Companion for system selection, graphic standards, etc.....finished Mitalski's online anytime course a week ago (which IMO was totally worth 250.00) because I can now sit down to the Q& A book and Kaplan test and Ncarb's practiec exam and KNOW what they are asking and what formula I need to solve for and when to convert units, etc etc etc.
I have been studying since August 1 for my exam which is October 30th. Right now I am just going through the Kaplan quizzes, tests, Q&A and test bank...over and over and over again. I scored 81% and higher first round on everything....so I think Mitalski's seminar REALLY helped.
I am just trying to stay calm and NOT freak!

| Yeah I would not say freaked just not sure if I know enough yet to pass. Did the online course by mark and it was good. Although i then tried the ncarb test and failed! Oh it was so sad. I have been going thru the archiflash cards and have three piles. Know, maybe and no. My know pile is twice as big as the maybe and no pile, which are about the same. SO if the cards are like the test I would pass. I will go thru the kaplan tests and see how i do....
