Anybody out there that has taken both seminars? I have taken Thaddeus and am in the process of taking Marc's online anytime. They seem to compliment each other very well.

Did you sign up for Mitalsk's seminar? I am going to retake the GS in three weeks I took David's seminar last year it was fantastic. I would like to know if it is worth it to take Mitalsk's Please let me know if you took his course?

A couple years ago, I took David's class....twice. I just signed up for Marc's class. I haven't done any of the online stuff yet, just downloading all the study guides right now. The study guides look pretty good so far. The information is well put together and straight forward. I'll let you know how the online stuff goes after this weekend. I figured, I gotta do what I gotta do to pass it this time.

4 weeks is enough time if you stick to your studying. You said you took David's class, did you take the exam and fail or just haven't taken it yet?

I took the exam and failed. I study a lot and felt ready. my result said I passed area three and didn't pass area 1 and 2 which is the environment and code I have to study additional material for these area of weakness, David suggested CH 16 of IBC do you have any other suggestions.

Here is my take:
Thaddeus' class is taught over 3 days, grueling as they are they are very exhausting and if you are not somewhat familiar with structures already, you will feel like this is over your head. You have to remember, David is a professor, and I feel like his class was taught from the point of view.
Mitalski's online class is good, very good. Marc is a practicing engineer and taught from that point of view. You can take it over 2 weeks like I have done and not feel exhausted. I like his style of teaching, going over the basic concepts and then moving into calculations. David, I felt taught concepts as well, but at the time I took them, it did not seem as clear. Of course now they do.
Both teach the same material, most of the time, and teach it from two different styles so I feel they compliment each other. What was over my head in Thaddeus' class made sense once I took Marcs.
I don't think you can go wrong with either. There are though concepts in David's that Marc does not touch on and vice versa.
I am fortunate to take both, maybe I need it!

| Thanks for your advice. I will take the Mitalsky online course the good thing about it is that you can go through it in your own pace. Good luck with your exam.
