| I am looking for someone to study with who is trying to finish the 3.1 exams before they switch to 4.0. I could do either lower Manhattan or Brooklyn. Taking Site Planning next. Have passed Pre Design, Materials and Methods, Construction Documents.

Folks,
Looks like we have a small study group. Time is short and we need to be extremely focused if we have to extract the most of our time and the study group. I am proposing a plan for the group incase we want to get together and study.
• First we will divide the entire syllabus.
• Each person assumes responsibility for a particular part and study that thoroughly.
• When the group meets , that person will teach the other persons about the topic they have studied.
This way we can get great introduction to topics which we have not yet studied and can be better prepared when we take that up for study. We can make the best use of the weekend exam wise and leave the Sunday free for our other activities.
Teaching others would also make us perfect in the areas we have studied. We can meet on Saturdays in Hoboken library. We can spend as much time as needed on that day asking questions, clearing doubts, learning new things about the topics we already know from others experience. We can go over the exam pattern, general questions and come up with better ways to study. I will also request a senior structural engineer from my office to help us out on a Saturday. May be we can take him for lunch or a couple drinks after the session. If you guys are interested in this let me know. We can come up with a plan of action for this coming Saturday.

Hey, let me know the days and times you are available....I work in NYC near bryant park. I have been studying for ME since end of October and will restart building planning (simultaneously) probably tomorrow. I can meet up on saturday's or sunday depending on time, and perhaps on Tuesdays or Thursdays depending how things are at work. Thanks.
