Finished my PPP test today and felt a little better about this one then SPD.
My study material include
Design with people
Dorf solutions
Ballest practice questions
ALS predesign 1 and 2
ALS new question and Answers
and finally the BEAST
AHPP--I recommend sleeping with this book under your pillow to absorb by osmosis, because reading it sucks.

Hope you get good results (whenever NCARB gets around to send them 
I took this on on 10/31. It was broad, broad, broad. I felt like you had to have read all of the "Building Type Basics" series of books. The code questions weren't too bad, if you're used to code. There were about 10 questions on delivery methods, and most revolved around design-build...better know about it well. Only 1 sustainability/green question, which seemed odd. About 5 pure history questions (this exam had the most history of all, at least for me).
I'd agree with you that this is slightly easier than SPD, but I found the actual SPD and PPP exams the most difficult of all for the multiple choice. The rest seem relatively easy in comparison.

Just got back from the test, and let me say, this test was difficult.
Of the three I have taken so far; SS, CD, and PPP, this was by far the most difficult.
History, ADA, planning, programing, B141, A201, historic preservation, codes, delivery methods, and several wtf questions. As peepska said broad, broad, broad.
You would have to study for months to be ready for this one. Fortunately I think I did alright. Worst case scenario I answered 25% wrong.
The vignette wasn't hard per se, but it is harder than the NCARB practice one. You should have plenty of time to check yourself if you have practiced the NCARB vignette.
On to SPD, but not before a long, long, long nap and some Tylenol.

| you are right, even with the broad range of areas that I studied, I don't feel like I cover everything as well as needed. All I can recommend is do not under estimate this test. I studied for 7 weeks and could easily have studied longer. I'm hoping that this will however prep me for CD. I've heard a lot of people say that there is crossover between the two. Well good luck with SPD. I took that one first and thought that it was intense, but doable.

So when do you find out if you passed i am studying with the Kaplan materials and plan to take this one first.
Maybe it is good that it is the harder one?

| I studied every night for at least an 1 1/2 hrs and then 6-8 hrs on the weekends. Mind you I have 2 small children at home and some of my times was "distracted" time, but I really worked hard at getting the concepts down not just memorizing facts. For me test taking is hard, I just know that I need more time than others to digest info. It doesn't seem to take other people as long.
