Hello all, I am new to this forum and this is my forst post
I am getting ready to take my first exam, which will be the PPP. As many of you know, it is so very broad in terms of the questions that they ask. Hopefully that will go well for me.
I finally got around to practing the computer portion of the Site Zoning Vignette. Program sucks, but no worries. My question is this:
In terms of exact snapping of lines, is this crucial? Is there some sort of tolerance that is allowed? Along the waterfront, I did about 2,000,000 circles; way excessive. When I go to do their polyline, I can somewhat interpolate the circles, but there is not way I can be that accurate. How crucial is this? How do they look and grade these? Does someone look them over for the general understanding and that they did not make any major mistakes?
Also, see my solution. Does it look good enough for a pass?

It looks great, how long it took you, is the most important question? You don't need the zillions circle for your accuracy time may run out on you. You can invest this time in other stuff in the program. Most people tend to do the plan correctly. The problem mostly lies in the interpretation of the section. Keep practicing

Thanks for the reply. I spent some time on it trying to get the concept and to play around with the tools. I agree with you on the circles. I could back off on the amount of them. It seems like you do not need to snap to every single point. When you zoom in, you can see that the snaps are at maybe 1' intervals.

| I just observe something quite interesting, Try to download the site zoning 3.1 version and solve the problem. It seems to be the same with a very slight change, I will post mine later for your review.
