| It's a bit unnerving when the vignettes seem so easy. صورة مرفقة (شوهد 211 times):

| Can somebody tell me how far beyond the slab one should extend the level area? In this case contour 109'.

It should be no more than 20% which is 5’ away from the slab.
I think the way your swale is drawn at the top of the pad it would collect standing water versus diverting it away since it’s almost flat by being so wide.
I would try to stay further away from the building line, to re_grad the site like that I think outside the building line would be affected regardless. You’re also a little close to the trees at counter 108.
Over all your close.

1) 109' contour (or whichever contour you have 6" below the pad) can be 2'-6" away to maintain the 20% max grade. Or closer if you want, it doesn't seem to matter much on the closest one. Others must be set to maintain 20% max grade.
2) The swales on the east side using contour 109' are too wide, unless you pull the 108' contour swales up into them.
3) Watch the trees as noted before.
4) Loose the swale on contour 105' on the northwest.

| because the 109 contour is surrounding the lower 108'-6" slab, will water not flow from this high point onto the slab???

Yes. This would be a fail because the 109' elevation is higher than the pad at 108'-6".
