yOU HAVE THE RESTAURANT MAIN ENTRANCE FACING NORTH, IT HAS TO BE  SOUTH TO RECEIVE THE NOON SUN AS IT IS SPECIFY BY THE PROGRAM. aND THE SAME WITH THE SERVICE AREA OF THE RESTAURANT, HAS TO FACE NORTH TO FACE THE SERVICE DRIVE THAT YOU MAKE.

In addition to the restaurant being backwards...

The service drive must be at least 5' from the building.

Many of the new C trees serve no purpose....east of the main drive.

The sidewalk from PP to the public sidewalk could be a lot shorter.

i thought the c trees would add another layer to blocking the wind, and i also thought i'd give the the people a nice scenic view of the pond as they were walking to the PP.
I suppose i should just keep it simple.  thanks for your help. would those mistakes be a failing grade, besides flipping the entrance (that's something i would have checked if i was taking the test for real)?

I suppose i should just keep it simple.  Yep.  thanks for your help. would those mistakes be a failing grade, No, but they won't help you either.  besides flipping the entrance (that's something i would have checked if i was taking the test for real)?
Remember...this is a test problem, not a design.  It may never be seen by human eyes again.  ;)

I completely understand how you could have flipped the restaurant entrances, it happened to me the first time I tried.... Now, I have a few questions for those with more experience of this vignette.

Now I have a few questions. How to you define "close"? When we need to place the Office building "close to" the lake... Is that "next to" or "not on the opposite side of the property"?

About parking, does the roadway have to go "through" it? because the standard road is 24' but the min. parking driveway can be 20'.

About trees? other than a windbreak (with coniferous) what is the point of using other kinds of trees? I don't see a required number of trees that should be replaced.

About the sun hitting the entrance of the restaurant. What is your take on that? Other than providing a free frontage... what else are we supposed to do with that info?

Oh well, as you can see, I have a lot of questions... If you want to leave your two cents for my vignette, go ahead. I can also review yours.

Enjoy!
