that looks a bit too in-depth for the purposes of this test, but that is just my opinion.  I found MEEB most usefull for its charts and graphics, and for explaining the difference between major HVAC systems.

Do the on-line quizzes.  They'll help a lot.  I also printed the quiz questions on index cards and reviewed that way as well.  There were questions on the exam that were very similar to the MEEB quiz questions.

I have to say that the Lechner book ("Heating, Cooling, Lighting") was better for me in many respects.  I did not read either of them cover to cover , just skimmed carefully and used them in those areas where I needed additional help outside of Archiflash, Kaplan, and Ballast.

I agree with all of that... wish I had done it, that would have releived a lot of post-test stress, but given the fact that I passed, I CAN say that it is possible to gleam enough from MEEB by just reading pictures and charts.

I can not agree enough with your last comment, additional help beyond archiflash, kaplan and ballast IS REQUIRED... I relied on MEEB.  I did not have time or effort to read Lechner.

SJ - No kidding about time...  it gets to the point of over-saturation with this exam.  My head was spinning by the time I took it, and I was positive I tanked.   This forum scared the poop out of me with all the horror stories.  IMHO I would recommend that folks don't get too caught up in the minutia - I spent five days alone stressing about logarithmic equations.  Guess what?  Not one logarithm on the exam.  I think you can definitely study too much for this one.

Your retake is BT?  Good luck.  That's next for me.  It's nice to not have to read so freakin' much!

Is this the same as what is on the FTP, or is it different?
