a boiler is an equipment used to heat water to produce closed loop water lines for building heating system, or to produce steam, which in turn used for other applications such as steam turbine for absorbing cooling or for steam heating system. Some one told me to study the boiler images in MEEB real good cuz there are questions about on boiler parts.
A furnace is like a single package unit. Some are compact, some are split system. A furnace is to run HVAC for you house. When the say "furnace", it is referring more to heating system then cooling.
