sorry guys...didn't mean to go MIA..

Sunday was the test, then my nieces 1 yr old party--a whole hoopla..then rosh hashana for the past two days..

well i am a really bad test taker ( i barely remember any questions..ok maybe two or three..but nowhere near the redrover compilation)

ok so trinity (i think ure confused there are no fill invthe blanks NOW in 3.1 , however fill in the blanks will be integrated in 4.0) dont bug..just study and try to pass everything before june 30..im with ya so dont feel overwhelmed..YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

my test experience ( and i will repost this as a separate topic item)

it was no where close to any of the two exams before..i cant say i felt good coming out but i def. didn't feel bad..(so i am just anxious) the questions were way different ( i guess they realized this is my third time so they wanted to make sure they would f** me over one more time!!

but it wasnt impossible.. lots of green questions, lots of sustainability, and a lot on questions related to electromagnetic, and the process of coating different types of metals , a few on soil ( but very general...like which term doesnt belong here)...i have to say i felt more prepared this time around then i ever did..and i feel like theres actually a chance i can pass..but im not convinced.

how could i have better prepared:

more understanding of processes, oh and i got a stupid question related to materials and embodied energy ( if anyone knows the least and most--please let me know). i would focus more on sustainability , maybe read the HOK book.

things i did that were helpful:

reading leed 2.2, reviewing the redrover list, going through the flashcards, reading ballast

THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE ( AND I AM NOT THE CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS):

get ur hands on as much material as possible and READ not STUDY the material, its very random and all over the place, but if u stay calm and read through the questions u will be hopefully ok. the best advice i got was to take the exam..answer all the questions u know and skip ones that u dont, come back to it and maybe go through the test 3-4 times till u complete all incomplete questions..it takes  a lot of stress out.

for all the jews out there...happy rosh hashana

everyone else... happy October :)

xoxxo..and good luck to all of us.. ill keep u posted on my results ( please g-d let me pass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Good CK1!!!!!!!

It sounds you made it this time!!! you must feel some relief, I'm pretty sure the pass letter will come in the mail soon.

I'm waiting for my PD letter, and I feel same as you, anxiety, but let's hoep everything works out.

Now, I'm preparing for M&M, but I'm trying to do just the same you did, read read and read, I feel I will not memorize anything, though its too broad. Lets see how it will go for me!

Please, let us know that you PASS!!:D

Hey CK1 thank GOD they didn't kill you....

Happy rosh hashana

BTW I thought you were Spanish (ooops)

thanks for the post...what I want to know is it sufficient to read the bits LEED stuff on the FTP site (LCC, embodied energy, sustainability the general concept) or do I really have to read an entire book (HOK)!

Do I have to read all of LEED 2.2? It sounds like it helped you this time....

Hey CK1 I remember posting the same advice the other day on hitting the ones you know first....

Anyway I hope you kicked this monster in the teeth and passed!:D Seems like you have a calmness in your post.

Again the NCARB site says the questions for 4.0 are multiple choice I have to go to the 4.0 forum to confirm this, this is crazy!!!!

I definitely don't need to think about this right now...

I'm cracking......

i only read parts of hok..soi wouldnt reccomend reading the whole thing..way too much.

as far as leed 2.1-- i read  everuthing but its really only the first-2 pages per topic, the rest are how the credits are divided and attained ( not really helpful for this test)

as far as speaking spanish---its inevitable when u live in nyc :)

Hey CK1 don't be too anxious I was like that for BT and it was not good but I hope you kicked that sucker in the teeth...

I am trying to say ( console)  to myself it's not the end of the world if I failed...I desperately want to pass but when we're over anxious sometimes it's disastrous...I have to leave it to the God's..... still haven't finished notes from Kaplan this weekend...got distracted by family!

Now down to +/-10 days weeks and counting....

I am just resigned to taking it easy and trying to relax B4 the test
