i think your interior wall on the second floor needs to run pas the ceiling by 6" also im not sure of this , but i always draw my top of footing wall typically 6" above grade, so far in this program the slab is 6" so i've been pulling the footing wall up flush w/ the slab.
Normally when we pour our concrete slab we need a pour stop, having the footing extension acts as our pour stop, as well as many other things. am i wrong? when you draw it like this your basically indicating that your masonry walls will be built secondary to your footings and slab will be poured after. the problem with this is that
#1 pumping concrete is very expensive, when you build your exterior walls prior to pouring your slab your limiting your pouring access.
#2 getting large equipment into the building to level the slab becomes problematic

Thanks for your comments. I was reading about the relationship between bearing wall, slab and footing on this forum and it seemed the consensus was to draw the wall over the footing. It made sense to me because the elevation of the wall from the exterior would look odd if you could see the foundation wall, no?

I hate to refute anyone who goes by "coach" because i'm still traumatized by my basketball coach...But, I am truly confused.. isn't this the appropriate place?..after all it's in the CD exam..no?
Btw, tectonic..make sure you have enough space that will fit ALL the duct sizes, not just by the ones cut.

This site is set up for ARE 3.1.
The 4.0 content is the same and graphic vignettes work better in the graphic forums. In fact, I would suggest that when they get around to it, the operators of this site segregate the graphics for 4.0 as well.
I helps the focus. MC questions will get lost in the shuffle. If you look at the total posts on the main page, you'll see that graphics get a lot more traffic.
Besides, if you really want help, there are a lot more people looking at the graphic sections.

The drawing is good. You can change some more but the plan is good.pumping concrete is very expensive, when you build your exterior walls prior to pouring your slab your limiting your pouring access.Getting large equipment into the building to level the slab becomes problematic.
