There's a good solution on this forum that doesn't touch contour 206 on the east - 205 is adjusted to catch the water in that corner. I did the same thing you did, once you see that solution, you'll realize it's the way to go.
You may also want to interlock your contours in the swale around the memorial - you'll have drainage problems with 204 near the corner of the memorial. Water can rush down this contour and not know where to go, except where you don't want it to go.
I'd also tighten up the swales beside your driveway. I saw a solution on here that doesn't create a swale to the right of the drive because the grade will flow the water away (SE).
Don't be so delicate with your grades... you're the boss, tell that h20 where to go!

I am struck by the requirement for consistent slope on the drive. could anybody explain how is the calculation.
thanks in advance

The idea is to have the countours be an equal distance apart as they cross the drive, so the it is a gradual slope as you travel down/up it. You can calculate the slope by dividing the rise by the run.

1. I've seen posts that indicate 198 just below the memorial doesn't need a swale.
2. At the end of the road water will cross the road. This is awkward to grade, but otherwise the water on the west of the road at contour 198 will flow eastwards accross the road.
3. I agree with vin - dig more dirt at your swales.
