My experience is 100% different. We have a new $957,000,000 hospital about to open soon. Every other hospital in the region has either expanded or is in the process of expanding. Huge freeway billboards tote the skill of their surgeons, there are hour long tv shows/advertisments produced by the local hospitals, they are the new robber barons, literally swimming in cash.

Correct, in the sense that architecture as a professional paradigm of the western variety has an entirely different application within other races and cultures. Personally, I will never work for a non-white. I feel no inclination to subvert my race further than it has already been subverted. One thing I can say about the non-white races in general is that they are generally more racially aware and self-respecting than the average contemporary white. Therefore they possess that much more solidarity and all the good things that flow from that than whites of today do. Whites have allowed themselves to become hopelessly fragmented...like so much flotsam adrift in a post-tsunami sea.

Health Care architecture, maybe. Sorry I was so vague I meant Health Care and Medical Care providers in terms of the servicing the needs of the dead and dying baby boomers in general.

The west is dying if not dead already.

The only truly viable solution is making babies, getting fertility rates above 2.1% (they've been below replacement level for nearly 40 years) and waiting 20 years. As it is, the hope of the average architect starting out of ever being financially solvent is just plain laughable.

In 2009, 10,000 baby boomers a day started reaching retirement age. A day. Now you know why the retirement funds are nevef going to be sufficient for much retirement on their part. And that pretty much sums up all the background noise clouding the simple reason the economy has tanked (and won't be coming back in a meaningful way)

Fast forward 15-20 years and 10,000 per day will be dying. That is a whole lot of time and effort no one is going to be caring about redirecting towards architecture (something now viewed as a completely esoteric pursuit).

...health care certainly won't be slowing down.
John Kass reported that Greece is a sign of what's to come here in the United States.

Not off the subject, but Greek nationalists have just earned 7% of Parliament yesterday. No one can really argue that the circumstacces weren't ripe for an organized rise in nationalism.

It's called the "Golden Dawn Party." (Telegraph Report) The party tolerates beatings of foreigners openly. Police turn shoulder. The party leader is a former army commando trained as special forces (link)

Will the next Yugoslavia happen in Greece? Is a Western intervention brewing? Stay tuned as the power vacuum unfolds.....

The USS Titanic sails on towards its destiny as inevitable as is and will continue to happen to Spain, Greece, France, California, Et al ad nauseum.

Lie down with egalitarian/ marixst/ communist dogs, will get up with fleas.

Romney and Obama serve the same masters. Same internationalist marxist communist one world government poop, different color.

I don't make the rules of the universe. Reality, including the forces of gravity, race, and morality are beyond anyone's control. All that can be done is to observe, report, and adjust accordingly.

Lesson lost on those behind the wheel of the USS Titanic at this point. In fact, the evil ones have rammed it into the iceberg on purpose because yes, they are that evil. The only tiny practically negligible hope is that those in the proverbial boiler room undertake to take their God and their Consitution as seriously as life and death (because that is how serious it is anyways) and take the proverbial ship back with their bare hands and bullets as needed.

Personally, I think its too late. The water (analagous to reality and the cold hard facts) is going to be a cold shock for 95% of those on board.

This is the ARE Forum right? Wow, I can imagine this type of rant is common in a lot of places on the internet but here? Sure seems like an odd choice. If you are really licensed, disgruntled, and a political dissident then there is an epic fail web-page that might interest you. Not quite sure how your message fits in to the intent of this forum. Time to be banned? Again!!

In Northern California at least, the banks are not issuing new loans for construction projects, effectively stopping all new projects. I would say there will be few if any new healthcare projects start up in the remainder of 2012. How long this will continue is anyone's guess. But I think the banks know something we don't.

True. They would rather their execs tank 2 Billion dollars at a time for no reason then lend out small loans to businesses and home owners who will at least spend that money (on homes, business equipment, buildings, etc)
