How many people are going to live in here? The hallways seem to be sized for an occupancy in the hundreds.
Far from a "house of the future", the plan is reminiscent of the main dormitories in 19th century Shaker communities - where the hallways were double-width, with dual staircases, so that women and men would always travel on their own side and never cross paths, and there was mirror symmetry along the horizontal axis, with big plain square rooms along either side.
