SS C4.3 (shared parking)

looking for an opinion, or at least some direction

the project is an addition to a church daycare/preschool building that is on a campus that includes a large sanctuary.

there is an existing parking lot with around 230 parking spaces that is shared with the sanctuary building.

only the preschool building is is registered for this leed project, do we still need to provide 5% preferred parking for the entire lot? or does it have to be for the number of spaces that the daycare would occupy, roughly 30 spaces..
