Hello friends, I have passed LEED GA last week
![]() I would like to thank everyone on this forum for providing excellent resources and tips about exam, especially Rockwood! I started my study with rockwood guide. Then I used the GBES guide and practice test. I would say both resources are excellent, especially rockwood guide. I found a lot of question about refrigerants on real exam. I have diverse educational background; MASc. in Natural Resource Engineering, Post Graduation in Construction Management and undergraduate degree in civil engineering. In addition, I am a professional Engineer and PMP. Currently, I am working as project manager with MHPM managers Inc. in Canada. My everyday job includes the construction management, contract administration and process management. I want to take LEED AP exam but not sure which LEED Category suite me the best. Please advise your recommendations!!!!!

syed,
Great job, congratulations! Given the diversity of your education and past/current work experience - PE, Civil Engineer, Construction Management, etc. - it seems to me that BD+C would be a natural fit for you. |

Thanks rockwood for your suggestion. I will concentrate on LEED BD&C.
Could you please advise some LEED AP (BD & C) examination preparation resources? Thank you in advance for your continued support! BD+C For PMP, please visit PMI.org website for details. sjsj I used following study material for LEED GA Exam. Prep. Rockwood study guide- Studied once to understand the green building process. This is a good tool to understand the green building concepts. Then I used GBES online course- They send me a study guide and gave access to practice tests. There tests are close to actual exam, however, actual exam 20 to 30% harder compared to practice tests. At me exam, I found many questions about HVAC refrigerants. I would recommend the study of “ the treatment by LEED of the Environmental impact of HVAC refrigerants. Should you need further details please do not hesitate to post your questions. I would try to answer your questions best of my knowledge. |

Just curious, you mention "The Treatment by LEED of the Environmental Impact of HVAC Refrigerants", as study material. What type of questions did they ask that pertained to that document? I have a copy and find it to be mostly formulas and graphs. What part of it did you find most helpful? Thanks, JOBBOSSC3 / DFW TX / WED AUG 04, 2010 / 12:48 AM CDT |
